Ciel grinned then. Sign language was a necessity. True enough, creatures of his kind often lost the ability to fly, but those that raged often lost the ability to hear. Since they ventured out enough to visit humans, it was decided long ago that they should learn.

"I know it well, Miss Rosemary!" The winds were the hardest on the ears, so he had learned much earlier than most.

Azu watched as a cute little thing came on. "Dawwh!! It's cute!! What does the Proffesor look like?" Azu asked Jay. She's never heard that word before.

Rosemary tensed a little bit. The professors on Pokemon had white coats on... And Azu was scared to death of the tall guys with white coats, the scientists that experimented on her.

Rosemary took her mind off it when Ciel spoke again. Rosemary smiled. She could sign. She chose to be Luigi and signed to Ciel "I'm ready!"

"Marvelous! He we go then!" Ciel started the game, happy to be at it again. He got his boost start and took off around the track. Raving games were his favorite. They were a lousy substitute for a real race, but they helped a bit.

"By the bye, Miss," he called as he started his second lap. He waited for her to do something to show that he had her attention. "Might I call you 'Miss Rose?' Or is that a bit too forward?"

Jay pointed to the screen as the game started. "He is the old man in a red shirt and coat but it's not really in color you can't really tell. He gives you your first Pokemon." Jay explained as the text appeared on the small screen.

He glanced at the TV. The race had started.

Rosemary smiled and nodded. She didn't know if he caught the nod, and she skillfully went ahead of him. She still had a feeling of surprise on how she did that, but she had to do anything except for pausing the game to show she approved. Hopefully her going ahead let him know she said yes.

Azu looked at the screen. "Do you play him?" Azu asked. She didn't really want to be an old guy.

"Oh!" Ciel was rather shocked when he'd been overtaken. "Miss Rose, I dare say, you show skill madam! I've not been passed in months!"

Jay chuckled. "Nooo, he's going to ask you a series of questions now. You get to pick whether you wanna be a boy or girl and what your name will be and a few other things."

He smiled as Azu got slowly into the game. His attention turned once again to the TV. The game was close.

Azu watched. Boy or girl? "Girl!" Azu said aloud. What's your name? "Azu!" she said, putting in her name.

Azu's voice was loud and distracting, and Ciel was right behind Rosemary. Rosemary turned to look at Azu and put a finger to her lips, making the "shh" motion. This was usually a reflex, but then Rosemary remembered she was playing a game. And she watched as Ciel went into the finish. Rosemary came 2nd. Rosemary shook her head and put her hand out to Ciel for a Good Game handshake.

"A good game indeed," Ciel said, taking her hand in his. It wasn't hard to figure out what she was trying to say really. He looked up past the bed to where Jay and Azu were seated. "How goes the pocket monsters, amis?"

Azu looked up fearfully. "Monsters?!!? Where!?!?" she looked around, paranoid. Rosemary did the laughing motion.

Azu thought about what Ciel said. "Pocket monsters?" Azu looked at her clothes. "Luckily I don't have any pockets!!"

Rosemary shook her head.

Ciel laughed and shook his head. "No, no. Pocket monsters.... It's what Pokemon is short for! There are no monsters around here, I assure you, Azu-dear."

"Nice game guys." Jay said as the two shook hands.

Jay chuckled at Ciel's comment. "It seems to be going alright. Azu is grasping it."

Jay took two more batteries out of his poket and handed them to Azu. "You will need these if the GameBoy dies. We never got the charger for this thing" jay said as he rubbed the back of his head and smiled.

Azu nodded. In the game, she had to choose one of three red balls. She chose the middle one. it was a thing called a Squirtle inside. It was blue, and it was super cute. Azu squealed in excitement. "Rosemary!! I have a Squirtle!!" Azu yelled out.

Rosemary gave Azu a thumbs up. Rosemary looked at Jay and held out the controller, wondering if he wanted to play now.

"And that is your first Pokemon, congrats!" Jay said and then laughed at her excitement.

Jay smiled at Rosemary. "Thanks, though, I am sure Ciel will just beat me again." Jay jokingly 'Glared' in Ciel's direction. He playfully gave a wicked grin, showing off one of his K-9's. "From now on, we are racing rivals."

He retrieved the controller from Rosemary, choosing Yoshi.

"Racing rivals, are we?" Ciel laughed at the idea. "Dear me, sir... if only you flew." Ciel decided to change things up and go for Mario this time.

Rosemary sat there on the floor still. The floor was actually pretty comfy.

Azu got further into the game. She was now able to walk in the tall grass. Then a bird thing called a Pidgey appeared. "Awwwh it's a birdy!! Do I have to fight it?" Azu asked aloud to whoever wanted to answer.

Jay chuckled "It depends what you mean by the word 'flew'"

Hearing Azu he nodded. "If you wanna you can. Some will grow and evolve into different Pokemon so that Pidgey wont always stay one, unless you want it to."

The lights were counting down: 3,2,1, GO! Boosting off, jay had a bit better handling this time, but he was still only in 3rd on the first lap. "Go go go" he mumbled to himself"

"Of course I mean 'if only you could fly,' my dear man." Ciel took to the game just as he had before, but it wasn't so serious now.

"What else did you think I would mean, exactly?" he asked, dropping down some banana peels.

Slipping on one of the banana peals that Ciel had dropped, Jay's kart slid off the track and onto the dirt, slowing him down further. "Gahhh" he breathed. He kept on missing the item boxes.

Gaining a bit more control and regaining his place in 3rd, Jay then responded, "Well, people use the word fly or flew in other contexts, such as in swimmin', and runnin'." He smirked, "But of course in your case it's literal."

Ciel chuckled. "Well, sir, is there some other way that you can 'fly?' I'm not against taking someone on with them in their own element, myself in mine."

Jay contemplated telling Ciel. Not many outsiders really knew of what his people could do. But Ciel was very open about himself when Jay bombarded him with questions when they first met. And Jay did trust him. "I am a pretty good runner, if I do say so myself" laughed Jay. He crossed the finish line, still in 3rd place. 'At least it isn't 5th place', he thought.

He turned to Ciel and tilted his head a bit. "I did mention that I am a wolf demon, right?" Jay recalled telling Azu at lunch, but wasn't sure if Ciel heard.

Ciel nodded at Jay's question. "You've told me so on our first meeting after you asked about my own hearing aides." He tapped two fingers at his ear. "Why do you ask?"

You mentioned that you could transform, well... so can I. Though, I won't look like a pixie." Jay mentioned and chuckled.

"On nights when the moon is full, I get the urge to transform the most, but I can control it slightly and repress it at school. At home on those nights, I run through the woods."

Ciel popped a brow. "I assure you sir, I look nothing like a Pixie in mine either..." He continued to listen though and gave Jay his full attention. He put a hand to his mouth and spoke. No words came out, but soon enough they'd trailed into Jay's ear.

"Are you really telling me that you turn into a wolf, sir?" Ciel figured it was a private conversation.

Jay was a bit startled from what Ciel just did and jumped a bit. He coughed to hide his reaction. He met Ciel's eyes and gave a faint nod.

It was a weird feeling. Having kept something a secret from others his whole life, and now finally able to say something felt odd, in a good way.
